An experienced healthcare professional, Dr. Soon K. Kim oversees the business operations of seven hospitals and multiple inpatient facilities as president and CEO of Signature Healthcare Services, based in Corona, California. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Dr. Soon K. Kim maintains membership with the American Psychiatric Association.

The leading organization of its kind, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) supports more than 37,000 physicians practicing in the United States and in countries around the world. Focused on assisting individuals with mental illnesses and their families, the association endeavors to increase the availability and accessibility of high-quality psychiatric care. The APA supports its vision and mission by gathering its membership each year.

From May 20 to 24, 2017, the APA will host its Annual Meeting, “Prevention through Partnership,” at the San Diego Convention Center. Organizers have planned a program with more than 450 courses and sessions, as well as a variety of exhibitions and poster presentations. The program will also include special events, such as a lecture from journalist Elizabeth Vargas and a piano performance from psychiatrist Dr. Richard Kogan.
